Frequently Asked Questions

Who is GSAE?

We are evangelical men and women who long to be effective on a collective basis causing and creating spiritual change within our culture.

We exist to bring Christ’s Church Together to Unite in Ministry;

And how does that happen? through:
Evangelistic outreach
Creating healthy pastors/congregations
Being the Evangelical voice in the community

Why does GSAE exist?

The GSAE exists for the sole purpose of calling the evangelical fellowships together for the propagation of the Gospel in a unified effort across the Greater Spokane area.

One was is to look at the following statement:  “In essentials unity.  In distinctives liberty.  In all things charity”

What are the core values of GSAE?

WE VALUE:

Why should a local pastor partner with GSAE?

Because one can not do the work alone.  We need each other.  GSAE is that connection with bodies needing that connection
Because pastors need pastors as colleagues in the ministry.  No one has ever been called to be the “lone ranger”
In the field.  GSAE opens up the eyes of the pastors to recognize that “we” do have much in common.
Because the GSAE is the networking key
Because the GSAE is the logical resource center or network source to help a pastor when he needs resources.
Why should a local church partner with GSAE?

Because GSAE is the connecting point to what is happening in the Inland Northwest.
Because this gives the local fellowship ownership in a “local” missionary.
How can a person get involved and help with upcoming GSAE events?

*The easiest way is to attend an event to see if this is something they believe God is calling them to participate in.

* Second is to ask what can be done on a volunteer basis within the office.  There are a number of ways that we could use peoples help in on a weekly base.  Ways such as: mailers, computer data input, creating and maintaining list, as well as working to keep the ministry current via our past.

* Third is to be a liaison from their fellowship back to the leadership of the GSAE sharing what is happening as well as what people are saying about ministry within the local church.  We need a lot of ears and hands to help stay on the cutting edge of ministry.  Hearing from the “layperson’s” ears is a great way to be involved with the GSAE.

Does GSAE offer a covering and accountability for independent churches?
